I have to give the entire coaching staff props. I don't know how they are piecing together such a competent team, with the JV guys we have playing G and in the secondary.

We're playing better in the second half a lot....that's a good sign.

I mentioned in chat that I hope McDermott doesn't start getting HC buzz the way that Chud did, which could happen. Funny that some people complained about him relentlessly.

Yeah, McD is already getting some HC buzz.

I don't want to see any coaches leave when were doing well but I could handle losing McD, We still got Ron, he is a D minded HC afterall.\

The Special teams blunders are becoming a bit too habitual tho, just bad luck or do we need to do something about that. 4 times weve lost a possession due to the ball hitting us on short kicks this year, 1 was preseason but its the same problem.

I don't know that there is much you can do about it, as it seems pretty common on short punts for everyone. In fact, I've wondered why teams don't try that stuff intentionally. I forget who it hit initially yesterday, but he was trying to get out of the way.

    Florence.

    Thankfully he redeemed himself.

Two games in a row the guy we cut got the game sealing INT. I'm so glad nobody picked him up. It was a little shocking to see him on the cut list to begin with.

It was a little weird that we kept DJ Moore instead, since he was so terrible in the preseason.

Isn't there something about vets being guaranteed their whole salary if they make Week 1?

Well...Florence got cut because he was pretty terrible, and I think we wanted to go younger.

Thankfully he's been pretty good. He's picked up a few easy INTs, but turnovers are turnovers no matter how you cut them.
