Most guaranteed money of any QB in football. It's also a very short deal relative to the other QBs. Like Paul said, you better get it now.

So, how much is that per fluttering wounded duck that his WRs come down with?

Cam is actually two spots behind Wilson in average salary, which is different than being tied. Tharan's liberal math was incorrect.

Sounds like Wilson is the new highest guaranteed money QB since Rodgers was $54 mil, Cam was 41 mil, Matt Ryan was 42 mil, Romo 40 mil, LOL Staford 41.5 mil and Bradford 50 mil (Alex Smith with 19 mil). Larger guarantee but shorter in years so harder to sign other players. But he can cash in again when he's 30

Actually, I googled "ESPN Russell Wilson" and came up with this page:
Quarterback Russell Wilson agrees to extension with Seattle Seahawks

Earlier, it had a chart with Rothlesberger or Rodgers or someone like that on top, somebody number two, and Cam and Wilson tied for 3rd, but that seems to be gone now. That was the source of the joke but I'll defer to you experts since I admittedly don't know much about NFL pay.

You could have stopped at the word much and no one would have argued.

On a side note and having nothing to do with Wilson, the Dodgers are roughly paying the same total contract value of Russell Wilson to players no longer on the Dodgers

So much for potentially losing Wagner. He resigns for 4 years

I think it was Wagner himself who made the statement that they couldn`t keep everybody.
