There's still a faction of Niners fans who are loyal to Alex Smith for whatever reason. I noticed it back in January when I was trolling their message board.

Christian Ponder and Alex Smith are the same guy. Ponder is the next QB who will be had on the cheap by someone and if he ends up going to a better team will have the talking heads spewing about how he's "put it all together" and "really grown as a quarterback" when he's already solid.

    As for my list:
    #1) Aaron Rodgers
    #2) Peyton Manning
    #3) Drew Brees
    #4) Tom Brady
    #5) Andrew Luck
    #6) Matt Ryan
    #7) Ben Roethlisberger
    #8) Philip Rivers
    #9) Russell Wilson
    #10) Colin Kaepernick
    #11) Nick Foles
    #12) Cam Newton
    #13) Matthew Stafford
    #14) Jay Cutler
    #15) Robert Griffin III
    #16) Joe Flacco
    #17) Teddy Bridgewater
    #18) Andy Dalton
    #19) Eli Manning
    #20) Alex Smith
    #21) Christian Ponder
    #22) Josh McCown
    #23) Ryan Fitzpatrick
    #24) Carson Palmer
    #25) Ryan Tannehill
    #26) Sam Bradford
    #27) E.J. Manuel
    #28) Matt Cassel
    #29) Matt Moore
    #30) Matt Schaub

I know it's splitting hairs but I'd flip Nick Foles and Russell Wilson

Foles had an amazing season, but he's not as good as Wilson.

Teddy Bridgewater, who has never started an NFL game, over Andy Dalton, a QB that has made three straight playoff appearances in three years in the league? Gimme a break!

Wilson is more of a game manager

RW's TD to INT ratio is nearly the same as Alex Smith's over the last 40 games.

    Just sayin.
