    Carolina waived rookie tight ends Andrew Bonnet and Jake McGee.

    signed WR's LaRon Byrd and Tobais Palmer.

    Shaq Thompson was involved in a head-on collision, ironically he hit a former Duke QB, Shaq apparently at-fault as he was cited for crossing the yellow line. Shaq is fine the Duke QB is not, hospitalized with serious though non-life threatening injuries.

    Shaq had been drinking but was not over the limit.

    Obviously it was man coverage and not zone that Thompson was in.
