I'm a little familiar with Mooresville.
I know nothing about Hough, Hopewell or Mallard Creek.
That said, print it and put it in a drawer somewhere, and get back with me in May - Lake Norman will not finish lower than #3...:smart:

Congratulations to Coach Little and wife on their latest addition on Friday!

Hope you are right catcoach. I pull for my local schools, but LN is young and on top of that lost their number 2 arm to injury from what I hear. I know Mallard Creek is loaded and Hough has played some power houses so far and played them well. As for Mooresville, all I know is they have about 13 srs and they feel they are good. They SHOULD finish higher than Coach Little's squad just on that note. But, thats why they play them. In a perfect world, LN and MHS would finish 1-2 in any order. Good luck to both squads and to the I-Meck as a conference.

    North Meck surprising anybody????

Looks like NM is emerging as the class of the league. What do you all think? I am not a NM fan but we play them again soon.

I'm a little surprised, but had heard they had a solid senior class and that seems to be the case from what I have seen. Leonard has been really good on the mound, and DiMino has been solid behind the plate and at the plate too. They have also received some nice play from frosh Ryder Ryan. Like everyone has said from the beginning though, it will come down to the quality of pitching they have after Leonard. I've only seen them play twice (Win vs. Hough, and Loss vs. Mallard Creek), and Leonard pitched both games.

I'm starting to worry about Paul's arm, to be honest. Every game conference game posted on TBR, Paul Leonard is pitching. I hope it just SEEMS that he's pitching all the conference games but it's not actually true. This kid has signed to play major DII baseball at UNCP, it'd be a shame for him to develop arm trouble.

Agree 100% - He's a senior and showing outstanding leadership by taking the ball when asked, but I hope he and his coaches are taking care to see the big picture.
