6th Annual NSA Hall of Fame Banquet - Myrtle Beach

    The NSA held their 6th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Banquet in Myrtle Beach on Saturday night. This year, in addition to N.C. and S.C., Virginia was added so it is now a Tri-State Hall of Fame.

    David Butler was Master of Ceremonies and eight people were inducted:

    N.C., Coach Tommy Williams, Coach Gary Ritchie and Umpire John McGill.
    S.C., Player Ben Carroll and Umpire Doug Speight
    VA, Director Tommy Zehmer, Director Mike Walthall and Umpire Jim Mayhew.

    All of the inductees display a true love and dedication for softball. I'm sure NSA will have some photos up on their site soon.

    In addition to the inductees, 4 Men's Teams and 1 Girl's Team was recognized at the banquet. Attached are photos of some happy Charlotte Blaze Black girls, recognized for winning the 12U "A" World Series in Chattanooga.

    A great time was had by all.
