    Advice for scum

    I have read this entire thread and feel really sorry for the kid involved. I have been involved with youth athletics for 25 years. Have coached travel ball in baseball and softball. Have assisted kids to college and aided in the advancement of many careers after the sport was over. I never made money but didn't want too because of the money I saved the families. The gratitude from the kid/parents and seeing a dream attained was more than money can buy. There were some disappointments and players did leave but the fence remained mended and the decision was for the betterment of the kid. This thread peaked my interest because I too have dealt with the "scum" referred to. In my dealings I learned 2 irrefutable facts. Please don't take this advice the wrong way as I am a stranger to your microcosm but felt compelled to advise. I will close with these learned facts in my 25 years. I wish you all well and hope and pray for the best:

    The person in question will continue to impose his/her evil ways until they are stopped. If there are real issues don't just post, put some action behind your anger. Rise up and call out the vagrant

    Finally, scum sits on top of the water and can't hide. In my simple observation the scum in question made itself seen here because the personality traits that accompany this type of person won't allow silence. Defensive traits are the first sign of guilt.

    it supposed to be all about the kids, but not in the way this seems to be happening.

    I had a parent and a college coach tell me a story about a player and a head coach they know....seems the coach took the 16 yr old girl out to the west coast, unescorted, and you can guess what happened..i'm waiting for someone to tell me why no charges were ever bought up for that....

    oh, by the way, I've had over fifty emails and countless phone calls about this thing.....a heck of a lot of stories, but gotta have proof....I hear that this may be forthcoming soon....

    Sure hope proof comes soon. This coach has been doing this for awhile now. Needs to stop and send him to jail.

    I've had some interesting stories come through the board, and when asked why they didn't go to the police, same story every time....I didn't want to cost my daughter the chance for scholarship money......to me, that's not an intelligent choice....think of the victims in the future, not to mention your own daughters sanity...seriously people, someone needs to stand up to this pervert, this braggart, this destroyer of lives and put his butt out of softball....he's already made the statement that no one has the balls to stand up to him......someone????? anyone????

    When you first started this thread I was sure we were taling about Monte with the if you don't play for me I'll blackball you crap but with the other situation that don't sound like him.

    not Monte my friend, much worse.......its an organization built on threats, bribes, good ole boy system, corruption, and all the things wrong with softball right now......all in one system. I've been asked to name this organization, but legally right now, I will pass.....almost everyone knows, and if you don't, ask around....we need a parent to come on here and post some truth...someone who has a daughter already in college that he cant touch.....
