Where can I find it? I prefer it to Western style. Not bashing Western, just my personal pref. Anyone know where to find good that prevents me from driving towards the coast?

There's this little place place off exit 49 on hwy 85 called Buffalo Wild Wings. It's pretty good.

Sonny's is a perfectly good place to get your bbq.

And there's no good BBQ in Lexington either, right?

Don't tell me you like that shit that is vinegar and salt and pepper, that is not BBQ, that is nasty.

Bubbas Barbecue on sunset rd has good eastern style. Bill Spoons on south blvd is supposed to be the "only good" barbecue in town, eastern style. never eaten there though.

It's no better or worse than what you would get 5, 10, 50, 500 miles away. There are good BBQ places and they are good becuase the individual place takes pride in doing it well, not becuase of the town it's in.

IMO, you put what sauce you like on it but what makes it good or bad is how well it's been cooked.

Personally didn't like Bill Spoons as it like they took it and ground it all to hell and has no smoke flavor or crispy parts.

Glenn`s BBQ in kannapolis is good. Its a little dumpy hole in the wall place. They have their wood fired pit setting behind the counter and their bbq is really good. Of course your taste buds aren`t mine so ymmv.
