    Off for a Saturday night again from 'the Firm' I headed off to the Checkers vs. Ice Hogs game at the Cable Box for their 2nd to last game there. Next season, the team will head back to their original home, Bojangles Coliseum**. A record setting crowd of 13,219 came out (a lot of Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts troops were at the game), which was really cool :) :) !!!!!! Too bad the good guys lost got blanked by Rockford 2-0 :( :( . ..

    **Bojangles Coliseum was original Charlotte Coliseum (1955-1988)
