I say no. Individuals yes but not to the point those individuals are forcing their beliefs on others.

What do you mean by "religious rights"?

The recent Supreme Court ruling allowing some corporations to not allow their health insurance companies to supply birth control to their employees because it goes against their religious beliefs. Re: Hobby Lobby amount others.

I think people who own a company should be allowed to run it how they wish to run it. And there's some common sense ways to avoid having kids, so I don't think it's a very big deal.

Run the business however they want yes. Getting involved in employees personal life, no. Besides it's a slippery slope. You have religions that don't believe in doctors or medicine at all. Should they be allowed to say we ain't offering healthcare insurance we don't believe in it?

I don't see it as encroaching upon employees personal lives. It's not like they're in the bedroom with you. Frankly, if I'm an employer, I don't want to have employers who are either too stupid or too irresponsible to avoid having kids that they didn't want to have. Not because of the religious aspect, but because of the underlying character flaw of being highly irresponsible.

And let's be honest, birth control is a luxury. Taking away ALL coverage which would treat basic and serious health conditions would be one thing, and I couldn't imagine a company would thrive very long under that policy. Birth control is something you take so that you can have a good time. It's not insulin.
