Who uses them? I am by no means a financial guru and am kicking around the idea of using one. I currently am getting help from Fidelity for free until 12/1. After that they charge 0.5%. My rate of return is currently right at 9%.

Hope you can find one that will treat you right. As well as go through proper background checks!

Might as well handle your own finances. It will help you save money that makes you somehow financially genius. :)

I`ve got two grown sons and one of them can`t keep two nickels to rub together while the other one would eat Ramen noodles for a year to pad his savings account.
Handling your own finances sounds simple, but its the individual that determines the success.

Point taken.. Yes it is hard to handle your own finances but we need to be somehow hands-on to this matter..

Do your own research. No reason why financial planners get a cut. Just stick to index funds like Warren Buffet said.
