FINAL RECORD: Either 45-8 or 49-8... Whichever you prefer. The Bulls can count 4 wins against Wilmington Laney if needed because of forfeits during the summer. Teams in Laney's conference counted the forfeits as W's so why can't everyone else? 45-8 was the record ON the field.

    * - Conference games (some conference opponents may be played more than twice, but only two games will be counted towards conference record)

Cary opened the season up with 8-2 and 9-4 wins over the Cary Colts. Then the Bulls dropped 2 games @ Northern Nash, 5-10 and 4-8. Judging by memory, this was the first time in program history that the Bulls dropped both ends of a DH. Adam Boghosian and Dillon Rudio homered Sunday for the Bulls.

Next up: @ Oxford on 5/20 **Conference Game

2 Former Bulls were taken in the 2008 MLB Draft

"Tim Federowicz (UNC-Chapel Hill) was the 5th-ever Bull drafted at # 232 by the Boston Red Sox. Alan Deratt (UNC-Asheville), the 6th Bull to be drafted, was selected # 527 by the Colorado Rockies." www.carybulls.com

The Bulls currently have 4 active minor league players (not including Federowicz or DeRatt):

Brad Nelson (1998) - Atlanta Braves AAA Richmond
Mickey Hall (1999-2001) - Boston Red Sox AA Portland

    ------

The Bulls went down to Tarboro on Sunday and came away with 11-4 and 9-3 victories. Joe Pistaccio (4th) and Nolan Poythress (3rd) homered.

Bulls/N. Raleigh got washed away tonight at Green Hope HS. Hopefully the field will be in shape for the SR playoffs that start tomorrow night.

Playoffs begin Friday night at home against #3 seeded North Raleigh.

The Cary Colts (15-U) finished #4 in the conference and play @ #1 Oxford first round.
