It's fun. Better than Oblivion, worse than ME or Fallout 3. So far, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

I'm glad to hear it's not like Oblivion. I could never get into that game. I've never played ME or Fallout. I have played KOTOR and loved the shit outta that game. My bro played the shit out of Mass Effect, so I'm willing to take a chance on a Bioware game.

So far DA isn't bad at all...the graphics for dialogue could've been better, but it's good so far. I just drank the blood to become a warden guy.

Yeah, the graphics aren't gonna be anything to write home about, but it is fun. There was a part on the dwarf quest that is creepy as fuck.

i think bioware went south after nwn. i don't get their whole insane focus on dialog and pcs/npcs trying to "act" their lines.

i think baldur's gate even as old as it is now was the best crpg to date.

you gather friends, they may be npc's but you can control them and level them up etc

why are you worried about blood? it's video game blood. there are more things in the game that will scare your youngins more than blood.
