NOTED PHYSICAL THERAPIST (ALAN TYSON) PARTNERS WITH FORMER NFL PLAYERS

Hey Guys,

For all of you that know Alan Tyson, you will glad to hear that his new business is up and running. For those that do not know Alan, this is a must read!

Looking to give back and create a new path for athletic training and the promotion of fitness and wellness, noted physical therapist Alan Tyson, his wife Alicia, and former NFL players Frank Reich and Mike Scurlock have formed Architech Sports and Physical Therapy, which will combine physical therapy, athletic training, and strength and conditioning services.

A 1991 graduate of UNC, Alan Tyson opened the first sports performance center in Charlotte with Carolinas Healthcare System, and later with Miller Orthopaedic Clinic (now OrthoCarolina). He has worked with the "Who's Who" of local celebrities, Fortune 500 company CEO's and pro athletics like Kerry Collins and Wesley Walls; Alonzo Mourning, Dell Curry, Jim Thome, Manny Ramirez, Olympic gold medalist Mark Gangloff and Cullen Jones (swimming). Alan was also a rehabilitation consultant for the Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Knights and Charlotte Eagles as well as colleges and associations in the Charlotte Region.

"This combination of services is not only beneficial for an athlete but also for any patient as we all have fitness goals and need nutritional advise to aid in the recovery from any injury," said Scurlock.

Note:

My son and I have know Alan for over two years now, and I have to tell you, not only is this individual a class person, he knows his business. My son has been going to Alan before his TJ surgery and well after. The results since his surgery have been terrific. I recently visited Alan at his new facility and it is first class. Lots of room with plenty of new equipment.

This is the address:

Architech Sports
8918 Blakeney Profesional Drive
Suite 120
Charlotte, NC 28277
